The Great Pyramid: A Cautionary Tale of Hubris
In ancient Egypt, during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre, Imhotep stood before his liege to present his vision of 5-meter tall tomb. Sark leaned against the wall, struggling to stay awake during the presentation.
Suddenly, Sark quipped, "It'll just get buried under sand and dust in days! What's the point of engineering greatness if it's just going to be a tomb? You describe it like it is 150 meter lol"
The room fell silent. Imhotep's eyes widened in surprise, but then a mischievous glint appeared in his eye. He chuckled and said, "Ah, Sark, you may have a point. Why not build something that will last forever? Let us increase the size of our tomb to a majestic 150 meters tall!"
The pharaoh, amused by Imhotep's sudden change of heart, agreed to go along with the idea. And so, the construction of the Great Pyramid began.
Years went by, and the pyramid rose from the desert sands like a giant sentinel. It became an iconic symbol of Egypt's power and ingenuity, drawing visitors from far and wide.
